• Arbitration
  Any dispute, claim, or controversy arising out of or relating to these Terms or the use of the Services shall be resolved by binding arbitration in accordance with the Arbitration and Conciliation Act, 1996.
  • The seat and venue of arbitration shall be Mumbai, Maharashtra, India.
  • The arbitration shall be conducted by a sole arbitrator appointed by The Verbal Lab.
  • The proceedings shall be conducted in the English language.
  • The arbitral award shall be final and binding on both parties.


• Jurisdiction
  Subject to the arbitration clause above, the courts located in Mumbai, Maharashtra, India. shall have exclusive jurisdiction over any matters arising from these Terms.

This Refund Policy ("Policy") governs all payments made to The Verbal Lab ("Company", "we", "our", or "us") for its services, including AI-powered tutoring, live instructor-led programs, and related offerings (collectively, the "Services").

By purchasing our Services, you agree to this Policy.

GENERAL PRINCIPLES

• All purchases are subject to this Refund Policy.
• Due to the digital and service-based nature of our offerings, refunds are limited and conditional.
• We encourage users to review available demos, trial sessions, or course details before making a purchase.

FREE TRIALS AND DEMOS
Where a free trial, demo class, or preview is provided:

• Users are expected to evaluate the Services prior to purchase.
• No refunds will be issued based on dissatisfaction if a trial or demo was utilized or made available.

LIVE INSTRUCTOR-LED PROGRAMS

• Refund requests must be submitted within 7 days of the first paid session.
• No refunds will be granted once more than 20% of the total sessions have been conducted or attended (whichever occurs first).
• Failure to attend scheduled sessions does not qualify for a refund.
• Misconduct or violation of platform rules may result in termination without refund.

AI TUTOR SUBSCRIPTIONS

• Monthly subscriptions are non-refundable once activated.
• Annual or long-term subscriptions may be eligible for a pro-rated refund within 7 days of activation, subject to reasonable usage limits.
• No refunds will be issued for partially used billing cycles.

TECHNICAL ISSUES
If you experience technical issues that prevent access to the Services:

• You must notify us promptly with relevant details.
• Upon verification, we may, at our discretion:
  • Extend your access period, or
  • Issue a partial or full refund

DUPLICATE OR ERRONEOUS PAYMENTS
Any duplicate charges or billing errors will be refunded in full upon verification.

REFUND PROCESS

• Approved refunds will be processed within 7–14 business days.
• Refunds will be credited to the original payment method unless otherwise agreed.
• Payment gateway or transaction fees may be deducted where applicable.

NON-TRANSFERABILITY
All purchases are non-transferable and cannot be reassigned to another user.

EXCEPTIONAL CASES

• Any requests outside this Policy will be reviewed on a case-by-case basis.
• The Company reserves the right to make the final decision on all refund requests.
